We utilize graphic design, apparel & textile design, printmaking techniques and other methods influenced by our African diasporic cultural backgrounds as modes of expression and communication for personal and client projects.

Our studio intentionally takes the format of design consultancy—working with artists, publications, cultural/educational/community-centric organizations and select commercial entities—and incubator for our artistic, craft-related, spiritual, scholarly and political exploration.

Danielle is an artist and graphic designer interested in interrogating how patterns and the rituals of quotidian life characterize systems, lived experiences, behavior, identity and culture. She aims to approach this probing with the sensibility and spirit of Calypso—an Afro-Caribbean art form meant to be an avenue for social commentary and self-determination.

Jordan is an apparel designer exploring expression and storytelling through the style, craft and experiences of the African Diaspora, and building an Africana design philosophy. This design approach seeks to connect history and heritage, while building relationships across the diaspora through supply chain and manufacturing.
